Product Information

MicroFUSION is a compact, high performance, microprocessor-based power controller available in single phase or three phase models to assist with control of AC loads.

Resistive or transformer-connected loads can be controlled in multiple ways, including Phase Angle, Zero Cross, Zero Cross Transformer (ZCT), or Fast Zero Cross (FZC). Output is controlled linearly and can be set to the average or RMS value of the voltage, current, and power.

MicroFUSION Three Phase controllers offer the following features:

  • Auto-ranging voltage circuitry to enable main supply voltage (45-65 Hz)
    • 24-600 VAC for UL/cUL
    • 24-690 VAC for CE
  • Robust design for continuous full-frame current operation without derating, up to 122°F [50°C], 6000 ft [1829 m] altitude
  • 24 Vdc power source to supply control electronics and maintain critical communications
  • Control setpoints through standard analog or optional digital fieldbus interfaces
  • 4-SCR and 6-SCR configurations
  • Delta Wye, 4-wire Wye, and Inside Delta load configurations
  • Status LEDs and an LED bar graph to quickly monitor operating status
  • Plug-n-play USB interface and free Control Panel software
  • Ability to easily duplicate controller settings for multiple controllers
  • >50,000 hour Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)

Two Performance Options
MicroFUSION is available with one of two circuit boards.  SX is a lower-cost alternative, whereas HX is a fully populated board that can be field-upgraded to include retransmits and other features. Available options with HX include:

  • General purpose input
  • Second analog input channel (second setpoint, potentiometer input, external feedback, or pulse width modulation (PWM))
  • Alarm relay (form C)
  • 2 x 16 bit analog retransmits (0-10 VDC or 0/4-20 mA)
  • Remote display (2-line, 16-character text display)
  • High performance
    • True RMS power, load voltage feedback, load current feedback, high resolution control loop
  • Increased accuracy, linearity
  • Current limit
  • External, touchsafe Class T Fusing

OEM options may be available upon factory consultation.
